Ms Lorenzi is a
seasoned manager with 27 years of experience in social service
program development in Washington, D.C., Maryland and New
York. She has managed many federally funded programs, including
a $60 million Head Start monitoring and technical support
program, which involved deploying more that 3,500 consultants
nationwide. Ms. Lorenzi designed and implemented a national,
culturally-relevant youth leadership training program for
the Corporation for National Service and has trained hundreds
of social service providers in the delivery of services, including
family and individual therapy, community outreach, crisis
intervention and drug prevention. She has developed curricula
for leadership development, co-occurring disorders and various
aspects of social service delivery. Ms. Lorenzi served on
the Mayor’s Community Advisory Board in New York City
and Howard County’s Substance Abuse Advisory Board.
She has a master's degree in clinical psychology from Teachers
College, Columbia University.
