Dr. Durham has overall responsibility for the management, growth, and development for the Institute. Included is the role of Project Director for the Central East Addiction Technology Training Center (ATTC), a government funded program providing analysis and training to enhance the substance abuse counselor workforce throughout four states and the District of Columbia. In addition, Dr. Durham develops training curricula and conducts workshops to counselors and other health care professionals, with a specialty in clinical supervision, in a variety of settings. Recently he has worked with several States in the development of curricula, delivery of training, and the training-of-trainers in clinical supervision. Other course specialties include brief therapy, pharmacology of alcohol and drugs, co-occurring disorders, and other drug and alcohol counselor skill-building topics.
